About the wines

The 2022 Izway Maurice Grenache is vibrant and punchy and just looks like a Christmas wine, it will be a perfect accompaniment for poultry and seafood.

The 2022 Izway Mates Aglianico and the 2018 Mates Aglianico are versatile and energetic, and serving them next to each other will surely divert attention away from any arguments at the lunch table. Aglianico matches with just about any food, but particularly fatty cuts of meat and slow roasts. The 2018 Mates is in a great spot for drinking but would definitely benefit from a decant. A decanter will also enhance the aesthetics of your table setting!

The elegant and expressive 2023 Field Blend will be on our table this Christmas, lightly chilled from the fridge. The bright red fruits are offset by a touch of cinnamon spice, emulating the Christmas pudding pre-Christmas pudding.

And it just wouldn’t be Christmas without Shiraz!  Dedicated to all grandparents, the Izway Rob & Les Shiraz, is drinking like a Summer shiraz and will be suited to lamb, beef, duck and turkey.

Lastly, we have found an older Harold Shiraz to help you wind down after dark, with the chaos and noise of the party just a contented memory. This one is a ripper and is ready to drink after dark on the 25^th of December.
